Pieter has been integral in various cyber related projects on a global scale including the development of a cyber security strategy for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development for a foreign country; Forensic investigation and audit of major credit card and security breaches; Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) to several financial institutions (banks, payment service providers and merchants); Designing the cyber security Target Operating Model (TOM) for a major Insurance brand and assisting them in implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS); Developing the Security Operations Centre (SOC) for a financial institution with more than ninety thousand endpoints, Delivering independent penetration testing and vulnerability management services to multiple data-driven businesses; Producing and maintaining the security awareness program for several international entities.
